Downgrade Xiaomi Redmi 4 Global (India Version) smartphone from MIUI 9 to MIUI 8

Xiaomi has rolled out MIUI 9 update for Developers and many day to day users also update their mobiles with MIUI 9 developer ROM to feel the taste of Nogate 7.1 android. But as it is a developer version ROM, they face some issues lag, Heating, fast battery drain etc and as it is in beta stage so there may be bugs. So if you have updated your Xiaomi Redmi 4 Global (India Version) With MIUI 9 and now not felling comfortable and want to get back to previous stable version MIUI 8 so here in am going to describe the procedure of how to downgrade Xiaomi devices from developers ROM to stable ROM that is MIUI 9 TO MIUI 8
How to Downgrade Redmi 4 MIUI 9 to MIUI 8 :
So here i will describe two ways to downgrade from MIUI 9 to MIUI 8 first if your phone bootloader is locked and second if your phone bootloader is unlocked. but before Downgrading backup your data and your phone should have 60% battery. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your device as this instruction is only for meant educational purpose.So lets begin with our first procedure for those who have their phone bootloader locked.
- First of all download MIUI 8 Stable ROM file from here or here .
- Next place the downloaded file in root directory of your phone storage and rename it update.zip
- next go to setting tap on aboye phone then on down side of screen tap on system updater and tap on three dots on upper right corner
- From the drop down menu choose “Choose update package“
- Now select the update.zip file that you have placed in the root directory of your storage and downgarde process begins and your phone will be on MIUI 8 soon.
- Enjoy MIUI 8.
So lets begin with our second procedure for those who have their phone bootloader Unlocked.
- First of all download MIUI 8 Stable ROM file from here or here .
- Next place the downloaded file in root directory of your phone storage and rename it update.zip
- Switch off your phone and boot into recovery mode via (Volume up+ Power key)
- Choose your language and then
- select the update.zip file that you have placed in the root directory of your storage and downgarde process begins don't turn off the phone on completing you get a success message.
- After the process completed clear the wipe cache data.
- Enjoy MIUI 8.
