Hi friends as we know that HTC Explorer (Pico) is one of the smallest smartphone from HTC that runs on Android OS. So here we are going to provide you an instructional guide on how to root and install CWM Recovery on HTC Explorer. After Rooting your HTC Explorer you can easily install custom Rom like B2G and apps that require super user right. The Rooting procedure is easy but still here we are providing you a simple instructional guide that can help you to easily flash cwm recovery and root your HTC Explorer.

Requirements:
HTC Explorer running on Android.
HTC Explorer running on Android.
A computer running on windows xp or above with proper drivers installed to connect your HTC Explorer to pc or laptop.
Enable USB debugging in your HTC Explorer Go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging and ticked the option USB Debugging.

Installation Instruction:
Install Custom Recovery (cwm) on HTC Explorer:
- First of all backup you phone and charge battery full
- Now Reboot your phone recovery Mode. To boot in recovery mode, press Volume down + Power buttons together.
- When you are in recovery mode from Bootloader menu choose the option “Fastboot” .
- Now connect you smartphone HTC Explorer to your pc or laptop via USB cable.
- Now on Desktop where you have extracted Recovery Image open the folder and double-click on the file “recovery.bat” to begin the flashing process let the process to be completed successfully.
- When the flashing process completed successfully disconnect your phone from PC or laptop and reboot your phone to Custom Recovery mode.
- Now to root your device place Superuser ZIP file in the root directory of your phone's sdcard and turn off your phone.
- Now, reboot your phone in recovery Mode by pressing Volume down + Power buttons together.
- From the recovery menu select the option "install .zip from sd" and navigate to root directory and select Superuser.zip and install it.
- Now reboot your phone and enjoy superusers right on your phone.
